Lounging Pants

Yeah, I finally got to sew this morning! I made these corduroy pants for Saga. I cut them out without a pattern, and luckily they fit nicely. After I went to Joann's for more corduroy and found that it was on sale for $3 a yard. So now I have a stack ready to be made into pants. This means I have plans to get up very early tomorrow to get a head start.

Lovely pants and without pattern!!! WOww, that has always amazed me. I wouldn' be ever able to do that in pants, lol...
Enjoy your new corduroy and your Sunday!

They are fantastic! I can't believe how cheaply you are able to buy corduroy (though if I convert that USD$3 to our poor sad Aussie dollar, I don't think it would seem such a bargain!). Happy sewing!

What cute pants! Does Saga know how stylish she is? :)

Saga is the cutest lounger ever. I love the polka dot trim on the bottom!

I finally got my sewing machine tuned up, sewed Viv's Halloween costume...but yesterday after I changed the thread, etc. to sew a blanket, my sewing machine now isn't working again. I am off to my mom's to see if she can figure out what I did to mess it up!

Wow - those pants are adorable! It's amazing you can make pants like that without a pattern! At $3 a yard I think I would be stash-building as well... ;) (Saga is such a big girl in that picture too - doesn't time just fly by..?)

So, you think you'll be able to get them off her? She looks pretty comfortable in them.

Great pants - well done!

And what brilliant news about your election - I have been following it (like most of the western world) and so desperately wanted Obama to win. Got my wish!
